UMPIRES

Often an overlooked aspect of the Little League program, umpiring is one of the most important. The volunteer umpire is as much a part of Little League as the volunteer manager, coach or concession stand worker.

Pinecrest Little League's Umpire In Chief (UIC) is Brendon Irvin. Like all adult positions in Little League, the Umpire In Chief's is a voluntary position.

The UIC is responsible for recruiting, training and scheduling all umpires for all divisions in the league.

Umpires

When Brendon and his team are supported up and down the league, baseball becomes the majic sport it should be.

Are you or someone in your family interested in Umpiring? You can be young (generally 11 is a good age to start) and also play baseball - schedules are written so you will not miss games.

Introductory and other clinics are held in April prior to the season. Get on board early.
