Pinecrest Little League, District 2 and Little League Ontario are all run by volunteers.
Your efforts will make our community a better place to live and bring up our children.

Now get them into the President’s hands as soon as possible.
Coach a Team
Little League Coaches have two goals, winning, and more importantly, teaching life lessons through baseball.
Coaches and assistant coaches are Mums and Dads who step forward each spring to lead their sons + daughter’s teams. The spirit and attitude of our coaches is paramount.
If you are a returning coach, you still need to apply for the position.

Coaching an A team during the Summer competitive season is the pinnacle of Little League coaching. Your team could win the District Tournament and have a crack at representing Canada at a World Series.
Please note that if you are interested in being considered for a position with the summmer coaching staff, you need to have coached a spring team.
Indicate on your Coach Application form if you wish to coach a team this summer.
Applicants will be evaluated based on demonstrated baseball knowledge, coaching knowledge, ability, previous coaching history and commitment.
Fundraiser/Sponsorship Coordinator
Coordinates contracts and solicits former business sponsors, new business and commercial/corporation and coordinates sponsors for Little League donations.
The coordination with the Treasurer of thank you letters, team photos and tax certificates to sponsors.
Defines, organizes and conducts the fundraiser(s) for the year.
Coordinate methodology with Treasurer to effectively collect monies from fundraisers.
Oversee Banner Committee.
Players Equipment Coordinator
Be responsible for the purchase, distribution, maintenance and return of all equipment, including all players, umpires and scorekeepers.
Be responsible for the purchase and distribution of the uniforms for the teams and tournament teams.
Be responsible to maintain a proper inventory of safe equipment as required replacing unsafe or defective equipment throughout the season.
Be responsible for recommending and setting equipment standards.
Join the Executive Team
President
2 year term.
Recruit personnel for all executive positions.
Provide support for all executive personnel.
Provide input and advice to VP Administration and VPs of Baseball (3 levels).
Participate on protest resolution committee, when formed.
Maintain signing authority on behalf of league.
Call and chair executive meetings.
Hold final decision making authority.
Liase and attend meetings with City Departments as required.
Provide official representation of Pinecrest Little League.
Vice President – Administration
2 year term.
Provide support to President and assist as required
Provide support to Uniforms person and assist as required.
Provide support to Special Events person and assist as required.
Provide support to Fund Raising person and assist as required.
Assist Registrar as required.
Represent President and/or Pinecrest Little League at President’s discretion.
Secretary
2 year term.
Record, prepare and distribute minutes of executive meetings.
Maintain a back-up of all official Pinecrest Little League documentation.
Prepare and forward Little League documentation with President’s approval.
Prepare and forward Little League and player insurance forms with President’s approval.
Prepare and distribute correspondence and newsletters with executive direction.
Maintain co-signing authority on Pinecrest Little League accounts.
Maintain corporate minute book.
Treasurer
2 year term.
Maintain record of revenues and expenses.
Make regular deposits to Pinecrest Little League account of monies received.
Prepare cheques for approved disbursements.
Maintain co-signing authority on Pinecrest Little League accounts.
Invest surplus funds following direction of executive and accountant.
Report state of finances to each meeting of the executive.
Registrar
2 year term.
Prepare and send registration mailouts to previous league members.
Oversee publication of registration notices in community newspapers.
Generate and post notices of registrations in community stores/halls, etc.
Prepare and maintain a record of all player information.
Collect registration fees and forward regularly to Treasurer.
Organize and manage registration sessions.
Prepare and file player lists with Little League.
Umpire in Chief
2 year term.
Prepare and maintain list of active umpires
Schedule umpires for all Pinecrest Little League house, summer and tournament games.
Arrange for training and testing of umpires.
Monitor on-field umpire performance and provide feedback where applicable.
Participate on protest resolution committee, when formed.
Liase with coaches and parents on umpiring issues.
Vice President – Tee Ball/Coach Pitch
Vice President – Minor
Vice President – Majors
Vice President – Junior/Senior
2 year terms each.
Identify and enlist convenors for division levels of play.
Assist Convenors to select managers and umpires.
Arrange for coaches’ training with VP – Training and Development.
Monitor on-field Coach/Manager performance and provide feedback where applicable.
Stimulate development and skills training of all players.
Provide liason between parents/coaches/convenors when required.
Ensure information is thoroughly communicated to Convenors/Coaches/Players.
Co-ordinate activities for Pinecrest tournaments with Special Events Co-ordinator.
Present trophies at Pinecrest tournaments.
Co-ordinate schedules for District playdowns if applicable to the division level.
